Could you image not having a cell phone? nope me neither thats why I think the technological advance of the cell phone was the best piece of technology produced. I think this because without it we would be so far behind compared to were we are now. I can not stand not having my phone so I do not think I could image phones never being invented.

The main reason why I picked cell phones is because they are used in very day life. When they were first invented only adults had them they were big, expense, and had a lot of problems. Today they are used by nearly everyone high school and elementary students. With out them things would be so different you could go weeks without talking to friends and family.

They connect us to people all over the country and the world. They have even advanced so much to the point were they are like mini computers. They have brought people together in ways most never thought possible they have also challenged us to think outside the box. They are one business people’s greatest tools for getting things done. Or average peoples quick calls while on the road and on the go.

Now a days they even have cameras and video recording built right in. You can up load pictures and videos from your phone to the internet. This has helped keep people stay updated and connected to each other like never before. There are even some phones that have global position satellites built into them so you can locate people or they can locate you. Still there is more in development.

Looking back the technologies we have to day never seemed possible. People most likely would have thought to have been crazy by others to think of the things we have today. This makes me open to future inventions and also very excited to see what is in store. Twenty years from now I am sure cell phones will be old news and something we never would have dreamed of will replace it.
